COMPETITIVE CURLER'S REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
RESPONSIBILITIES
The competitive curler's representative is the intermediary between all curlers in the Association and the executive.
All matters pertaining to the competitive curlers, including playdown format, scheduling, special rules of the Association are to be channelled through the competitive curler's representative.
DUTIES
Holds an organization meeting with all players at the site of the Association Tankard Championship.
Through the Zone and Association Chairmen will canvass all competitive curlers during the various Zone and Association Playdowns regarding any concerns.
Be present at the Association Tankard Championship Playdowns and be invited to attend the Association banquet for the purpose of informal discussion with the competing players.
Represents the competitive curlers at the annual meeting. If unable to attend, an alternate should be chosen to represent his office.
Liaison closely with all Zone and Association Chairmen to ensure that Playdowns are conducted on an equitable and organized basis and completed on time.
The competitive curler's representative is to prepare and present to the annual meeting of the Association a complete report of all concerns of the competitive curlers in the Association during the past curling season.
A copy of this report must be submitted to the Secretary-Treasurer.
